Metropolis was started out of frustration. We found that something as simple as finding an Entertainment Weekly or Spin Magazine to be an adventure. The local magazine selection is quite slim and the nearest major bookseller 30+ minutes away. After making the trek, the magazine we were looking for would be out of stock with no idea of when or if they even received it at all. So, we have taken the issue into our own hands.

We are a growing company. Internet only right now, but a brick and mortar store may be in the works for the future.

Metropolis has been selling magazines on eBay since 2003 under the store name ‘Metropolis-Magazines’ – we have a stellar reputation and over 1000 glowing feedback.

We want to be your go-to store choice for your new or back issue magazines. Whether it’s the newest issue of Vogue, that special subscriber cover of Vanity Fair, adding to your collection of X-Files, Buffy, or Star Trek, or just that latest must-have article on your favorite celebrity – Metropolis has what your looking for
